Kayleigh Cullinan’s story is a story of strength and courage. At the tender age of 15, Kayleigh suffered a horrible attack which would leave her battered and bruised emotionally and physically, blind in one eye, enduring 11 operations and left her months confined to bed face down in one position. Her only comfort was to listen to her ipod and sing along to the music she loved.
Prior to the attack Kayleigh was not the best of singers but after months of doing nothing but singing, she emerged with an amazing natural toned vocal.
Kayleigh has fronted many campaigns promoting mental health and suicide awareness and has appeared on various TV shows including the Voice of Ireland, Saturday Night Show and has performed in the National Concert Hall and for the President of Ireland. Her talented voice is recognized all over Ireland and she brings a wealth of experience to Your Local Star Competition.
